The Saga Prefecture International Relations Association has a volunteer registration system to promote international exchange activities
and mutual assistance with private groups conducting international exchange
activities. The aim is the promotion of international awareness and friendships
at the local level with broad participation local citizens. Volunteers for
international exchange events, introduction of history and cultures, home
visits, home stay programs and language instruction are wanted.
Event Volunteers
Cooperating as a staff
member of international exchange events that cities, towns, villages or
private international exchange organizations carry out.
History & Culture Volunteer
Introducing or teaching
Japanese and Japan history and or culture (ceramics, sado, Kado, etc.) to
foreigners.
Host Family Volunteer
Offering foreigners the
opportunity to experience Japanese daily life through a home stay or a home
visit program and promoting exchange.
Foster Parent Volunteer
for foreign students
Giving advice and
support or participating in local events together as Host Family.
Language Volunteer
- Interpreter
at conferences or events
- Translator
for letters, documents etc.
- Sightseeing tour guide for
foreigners
- Japanese
language teacher to foreigners
